Together we can rebuild and create sustainability for the future.  I offer a comprehensive breakdown of the standard building practices to streamline the building process, ensuring clarity and transparency in cost estimation by organizing the construction process into 5 distinct phases.

When tragedy strikes, the human spirit is deeply tested. Yet, even in the midst of loss and suffering, profound truths emerge—revealing our true character, our values, and our purpose. Witnessing this hardship has taught me so much about our community and that I possess the skills and practical knowledge to help build and restore shelter. My commitment is to serve our community by using these skills to help individuals and families rebuild, recover, and finally return home.

To turn this vision into action, I have partnered with Hope Homes Foundation, a non-profit that shares this core mission. Bringing together proven construction practices and a spirit of service, I developed a structured program to guide homeowners through every step of rebuilding:

  • Flexible Support Options: Designed to adapt to your specific situation, whether you need guidance as a Homeowner-Builder or full management with me as your licensed contractor.

  • Sliding-Scale Fees: Costs are tailored thoughtfully to fit each homeowner’s financial reality.

  • Cost-Plus Contracting: For contracted builds, my markup is kept to the lowest sustainable rate—just 8% to 12% based on project complexity (compared to standard market rates of 15% to 20%).

  • Paying It Forward: If project funds remain upon completion, homeowners are invited to make a tax-deductible donation (a suggested 0.5% to 3%) back to Hope Homes Foundation. These contributions directly subsidize building costs for other neighbors facing financial hardship.

  • A Structured, 5-Phase Framework: The build is organized into 5 clear phases to streamline construction, ensure transparency, and maintain strict budget control. An audit is conducted at the end of each phase to verify quality and progress.

  • Built-In Flexibility: If financial or personal circumstances require a temporary pause, the project can safely pause at the end of any completed phase and seamlessly resume whenever you are ready.

 

My goal is not just to manage a construction site, but to walk alongside you with compassion, transparency, and purpose until you are safely back in your home.
